Why an SMB looks for a Procore alternative

The 7 Procore alternatives

1. Buildertrend

Price on quote, unlimited users and projects, 10% off when paying annually in advance. French: no mention found on its pricing page.

2. JobTread

3. Fieldwire (Hilti)

Field management: tasks, deficiencies, inspections, plans with versions, reports. Prices in USD per user per month, billed annually: Basic free (5 users, 3 projects), Pro $39, Business $64, Business Plus $89. Website offered in French; the app language is not specified on the page we viewed. An alternative for the field only, with no quoting or invoicing.

4. Autodesk Build (Forma Build)

Autodesk has renamed its offering Forma Build: RFIs, documents for approval, meeting minutes, schedule, costs, quality and safety. Price not published: the pricing page points to a quote and mentions a 30-day money-back guarantee. The closest competitor to Procore on this list.

5. ProgressionLIVE

From Quebec, oriented toward field service: dispatching, work orders, timesheets, signature. Prices published in CAD: Base $250 per month on annual billing (3 users), Pro $300 (5 users, with a CCQ timesheet module and project management), Premium $432 (8 users), plus $500 for activation and $1,000 to $2,000 for training. Native iOS and Android apps. See ProgressionLIVE alternative.

6. Elper

From Quebec: electronic quotes and invoices, GPS time clock by zones, timesheets, project and budget tracking. Pro $119 per month on annual billing ($149 monthly) plus $10 per active employee; Max $139 on annual billing plus $12; 5-day trial with no card. Interface in French, English and Spanish; data hosted in Quebec according to its website. See Elper vs SubmitX.

7. SubmitX

Construction ERP designed in Quebec: quotes with an AI draft reviewed by the contractor, CRM, projects and Gantt, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, photos, progress billing and holdbacks, GST/QST, CCQ payroll, SEAO monitoring, QuickBooks Online sync. Prices on request, depending on the plan: Free, Starter (3 users), Pro (25 users), Ultra (25 users and more); 7-day trial with no card. Database hosted in Canada (Montreal). Honest limitations: a young company (public launch in June 2026), fewer integrations than an established vendor, a cap of 25 users before Ultra, and the AI can make mistakes (review required).
