What is SubmitX Network? Waitlist, regions and sign-up

SubmitX Network is a construction network in Quebec, currently on a waitlist. Here is what it is, who it is for, why it opens region by region, what sign-up costs and how your data is protected.

SubmitX Network at a glance

SubmitX Network is a directory of construction profiles in Quebec, searchable by region, trade and radius. It is separate from the SubmitX software: no software account is required and nothing from the software is read. Official page: app.submitx.ca/network.

Think of it as a construction directory that opens one region at a time, rather than a bidding platform or a classifieds site.

Who it is for: the eight profile types

Each type has its own sign-up form. The table points to the article written for each one.

An individual sees the profiles and chooses who to contact. SubmitX does not sell contact details or customer leads.

Why a waitlist and a region-by-region opening

An empty directory helps no one: a first search that finds nothing is discouraging. So SubmitX only opens a region once there are enough profiles for a first search to return results.

The 17 regions are: Nord-du-Québec, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Mauricie, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Côte-Nord, Capitale-Nationale, Outaouais, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Centre-du-Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Montréal, Laval, Estrie and Montérégie. As of October 21, 2026, none is open.

While you wait, you can sign up and prepare your profile. A single email is sent to you when your region opens. Your place in the queue sets the order of invitations, and referrals help you move up: you share a link, which counts once the person you referred confirms their email.

How to sign up, and what sign-up costs

1

Choose your profile type

Use the link for the type that fits you on the network's page. An individual, a supplier and a partner do not have the same fields.

2

Enter your name, email and region

Then confirm your email: an unconfirmed sign-up is erased.

3

Prepare your profile

Trades, service area, description and, for a company, RBQ licence number. You can also provide your website address: after proof of ownership, SubmitX reads a few pages (respecting robots.txt) and proposes a listing that the team reviews, never published automatically.

4

Wait for your region to open

A single email lets you know. No newsletter or advertising is sent with your sign-up.

Cost: sign-up and the profile are free. No credit card, no SubmitX subscription and no software account are required. Customers of the SubmitX software get two benefits: tender alerts a little earlier (see SEAO tender monitoring) and a "Featured" spot, whose rule is displayed.

Verified or found in the registry: what it means

The RBQ licence number is compared against the RBQ's public registry of active licences, published as open data on Données Québec (CC BY 4.0 licence) and updated daily according to its listing.

LabelWhat it meansWhat it does not mean
Found in the registryThe licence number entered exists in the registry of active licences. That the person signing up represents that company.
VerifiedThe email used to sign up is the company's email in the registry, or an address on its domain. An RBQ approval or a guarantee of quality.

To check a licence yourself, follow our guide to the RBQ registry and read the difference between verified and found in the registry.

💡 "Verified" does not replace your own checks: always confirm the licence with the RBQ before signing a contract.

Frequently asked questions

Is SubmitX Network free?

Sign-up and the profile are free. No credit card, no SubmitX subscription and no software account are required. SubmitX does not sell contact details or customer leads. No future pricing is announced here: only the network's official page is authoritative.

Do I have to use the SubmitX software to sign up?

No. SubmitX Network is separate from the software: no SubmitX account is required and nothing from the software is read. Customers of the software get two benefits: tender alerts a little earlier, and a 'Featured' spot whose rule is displayed.

When will my region open?

No date is promised. A region opens once there are enough profiles for a first search to return results. As of October 21, 2026, none of the 17 regions is open. You will receive a single email when yours opens; referrals help you move up the queue.

What does 'verified' mean on a profile?

'Verified' only appears if the email used to sign up is the company's email in the RBQ registry, or an address on its domain. A licence number that exists in the registry gets the label 'found in the registry'. It is not an RBQ approval or a guarantee of quality.

How do I erase my data?

Every email sent by the network contains an 'erase everything' link: erasure is immediate and permanent. Your data can also be exported, so you can keep a copy before erasing it. For any question about your personal information, write to support@submitx.ca.
