Dreeven vs SubmitX: collaborative field management or SMB ERP, which to choose in 2026?

Dreeven is a Quebec platform for collaborative construction project management, around since 2016. SubmitX is a younger ERP that starts from the quote and goes all the way to CCQ payroll and the invoice. The two do not target exactly the same need: here is what each one publishes, and who each one suits.

Dreeven: overview and what the platform does well

💡 Transparency: this article is written by the SubmitX team, so we are both judge and party. The facts about Dreeven come from its public pages (home, pricing, integrations) viewed on October 26, 2026. "Not published" means absent from those pages on that date, not non-existent. A mistake? Dreeven describes itself as a "collaborative construction project management" platform, "proudly developed in Quebec" by Dreeven Technologies, with the mention "since 2016". It is aimed at general and specialty contractors, professionals (engineers, architects), real estate developers, and municipalities and governments.

The strengths we can verify

For a general contractor coordinating many parties on the same job site, this collaborative approach is a real asset.

Dreeven and SubmitX pricing

According to Dreeven's Pricing page (viewed on October 26, 2026), the price is calculated per licence per month, based on each user's role. The currency is not specified (only the "$" symbol appears):

We found no mention of a free trial or implementation fees: the calls to action lead to a demo. An example for perspective: 1 manager, 2 superintendents and 10 workers come to 80 + 60 + 60 = $200 per month according to this grid, before taxes and without knowing the currency. Ask Dreeven for a quote for your case.

SubmitX provides its prices on request, depending on the plan: Free, Starter (up to 3 users), Pro (up to 25 users) and Ultra (25 users and more). 7-day trial with no card. See Pricing.

Language, Quebec and data

Dreeven is offered in French and English and developed in Quebec. On the pages we viewed, we found no information on where data is hosted.

SubmitX hosts its database and files in Canada (AWS ca-central-1, Montreal). Some subprocessors are in the United States (AI, application hosting, payments, emails); the list is published in our security FAQ. Law 25 (Quebec's privacy law) applies in both cases.

Our limitations are detailed on the SubmitX pros and cons page. If you are also comparing with an accounting ERP, see the Maestro alternative and the Acomba alternative.

How to compare the two on your real projects

1

List your roles

Count your managers, superintendents, workers and external collaborators: that is what sets the price at Dreeven. At SubmitX, count the users who will have access.

2

Request the Dreeven demo and open the SubmitX trial

Ask Dreeven your questions about currency, hosting and payroll. In parallel, create 5 real quotes in SubmitX during the 7-day trial.

3

Test a job site from end to end

Daily report, photos, deficiencies and timesheets in both tools; add the invoice and CCQ payroll on the SubmitX side.

4

Check the accounting

Confirm which accounting software you are keeping and which integration it requires (Acomba, Maestro, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50).

5

Import your data

SubmitX imports clients, prices, subcontractors and employees by Excel/CSV, for free; a full migration by our team is offered as an option (price on request).
